Ok so, I had people tell me my art is all the same and is boring. So I made this! I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE SO YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE ANYMORE! Thanks Ami for the help with Photoshop. So I colored that WHAT?? Vector (which is now in scraps), and I think this turned out PRETTY GOOD for my first time amirite? I kinda rushed on the wings, I may finish that up later, but right now, I call it complete (even though I see some things I could fix).
Very nice! critics: there is something wrong with the shading, the light source: the hat specularity ( the brighter spot ) shows that the light source is behind-up-left of the character. Then you can see on the character's right (your right) feet and the "between the eyes" shows the light source is infront-up-right. Finally the left feet and the rest of the body (well almost) shows the light source infront-up-left. If the reason were that there is many light source there should be different "spots" of specularity ,for exemple, on the hat ( you actually see the right-front of the hat is darkened compared to the right feet which shows specularity in that direction, PARADOX )
But overall its really good considering that its your first attempt at this.
Oh. I already know those flaws. Hence me saying "even though I see some things I could fix." In fact, I wasn't even going to mess with a proper lighting source because I'm not used to Photoshop.
TRUST ME, when I make a picture, it's very unlikely that anyone sees a flaw that I don't already know about.
